Caver Small Team First Aid Class - Saturday March 21st
This will be a hands on first aid class in the cave. Students will get a lesson on patient assessment stressing the ABC's of first response. Then head into the cave to practice skills. The class will end with a debrief of students' performance. There will plenty of hands on use of all skills learned. This training is sponsored by the Fort Knox Grotto and the Kentucky Karst Conservancy. The training will begin in the morning on Saturday March 21st and run all day. Bring lunch. Location is to be announced. Cost is $15.00 and can be made with PayPal on the KKC website. Class size is limited to twenty four students. KKC and FKG members will be given the first slots available.

About the Instructor - Matt Nagel
Matt Nagel served twenty years as a light infantry combat medic in the U. S. Army. Matt has served several tours in different places around the world. He has learned many lessons in the field and is always willing to share what he knows. After retirement from the Army Matt has gone back into the medical field and currently works at Ireland Army Community Hospital. Matt is a caver and officer with the Fort Knox Grotto.
